Alkali Resistance
Alkali resistance is one of the important factor for reinforcement of cement composites. These figures show the alkali resistance of various fibers after soaking in cement extract at 80 degrees C. KURALON™ retains strength even after 2 weeks, while Polyester and glass fibers are losing it dramatically. Also for Young's modulus, KURALON™ keeps much higher level than other fibers.
